Welcome to your Virtual Recharge Retreat.

This is your time to relax and enjoy this retreat in your own space and in your own time. The content will take you between one and three hours to complete; you can do this at your own pace.

 

Things you'll need during this virtual retreat: 

> A phone or computer with speakers (headphones if you prefer)

> A quiet space where you will not be interrupted (be sure to silence your phone and tell anyone in your home to respect your recharge time)

> A notebook or journal with pen/pencil (electronic is also fine)

> Water bottle near you

> Patience and acceptance for yourself

Let's begin your recharge retreat. 

Part 1: Identifying What Recharges You

It's helpful to know what drains you and what recharges you. These things could be hiding in your daily routine. This exercise will bring them both to light to help you understand how you can keep yourself energized and know what to do to recharge.

 

What you'll need for this exercise: pen and paper (electronic is fine, but you'll also need paper for a portion of this one; post-its would be ideal).

Following part one, take a break if you need one and pick this retreat back up when you're ready.

Part 2: Gratitude, Goals & Growth

Reflecting on gratitude, identifying your goals and tracking your growth can act as a grown-up report card. It's a powerful tool that will keep you on track for where you're going and in awe of how far you've come.

What you'll need for this exercise: pen and paper or journal (electronic is fine if you prefer). 

Take out your journal/notebook/electronic device and write about the following below. 

​

Gratitude: 

> What 10 things are you grateful for today

​

Goals:

> List out five goals you have for the short-term

> Of those five short-term goals, list out action steps for this week, month and year

> List out five goals you have for the long-term

> Of those five long-term goals, list out action steps for this week, month and year

​

Growth:

> List out 10 things you're proud about accomplishing this month or year (this can be in paragraph form if you prefer). If you are slow at coming up with items, break it out by dividing out positivity from any challenging experiences you recently encountered (i.e., dealing with the demands of life, but you were able to treat others with respect while you felt stressed). 

​

Wrapping up: 

Once you've completed these lists, go back and re-read what you have written. Feel free to add notes if anything more comes to mind. Notice if anything surprised you or if you gained a new perspective on what came out of this exercise. 

 

Adopting this practice on a weekly or monthly basis can be helpful in feeling appreciation for the things and people you have in your life, it can help keep you focused on your goals (or make room to adjust them as you evolve) and it can show you how often you are growing and succeeding when you face challenges in your life. Part 3: What to do with Road Blocks

Roadblocks can be found everywhere in life. This exercise identifies your current obstacles and redefines what they mean to you.

 

What you'll need for this exercise: pen and at least two pieces of paper.

Part 4: Mind/Body Relaxation

It's time to let go and relax. This is a guided imagery meditation that will welcome you to release any tension and enjoy feeling at ease.

What you'll need for this meditation: a relaxing place to sit or lay down.

Following part four, take a break if you need one and pick this retreat back up when you're ready.

Part 5: Your Meditation Recharge

It's time to go deep. This is a guided imagery meditation that is intended to recharge you and unlock your inner power.

Be sure to find a quiet space to avoid any interruptions during this meditation. 

​

What you'll need for this meditation: a relaxing place to sit or lay down, a pen and paper (or electronic device) near you to write with following this meditation. 

A Final Note: Continue to Recharge Often

This concludes your virtual recharge retreat. May you take what you've learned and apply it to your life. You can revisit this retreat as often as you'd like.
