Take a walk: updated meditation

Today I received a gift, rather, an opportunity. I got a copyright alert from YouTube saying someone was taking credit for a piece of music in one of my guided imagery meditations. At first, I was annoyed because I am always really careful about gathering only public domain music to accompany my meditations; after reviewing the email, I confirmed the claim was bogus. But rather than argue that I did no wrong, I swapped out the music with something I created myself.

This was my gift: an opportunity to do something I'd always wanted to do, which was learning to use the composing software that had been on my computer for years. Today I explored and composed something fun and simple that I take pride in, which has been added to my guided imagery meditation above. It was also a good breather to be creative in this stressful landscape we're living in today. Creativity is one of my rechargers and this is why I consider that copyright alert email a gift.

I encourage you to keep an eye out for opportunities in your life where you can turn something into a gift today/tomorrow/this week. It just may turn into the recharge you need. In the meantime, kick back and relax with the guided imagery meditation above: A Walk in the Woods.

Take care of yourself and recharge your self-care often.

P.S. If anyone wants/needs to reach out to vent or share how you're doing, you are welcome to connect with me via email at Kelly@HappinessRecharge.com.
